The guest artist recital featuring Laura Claycomb, soprano, and Keith Weber on piano will take place Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center of San Marcos High School. The recital will include art songs by Messiaen, Poulenc, Hindemith, Tres Poemas, Chant de terre et de ciel, Fiançailles pour rire, Marienleben and Brentano Lieder. Tickets for the event are $12 for general admission and $6 for students, senior citizens and military members with identification.
Claycomb and Weber return for a master class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m Sept. 29 at the Performing Arts Center of San Marcos High School to conclude the symposium. The final master class is free and open to the public. All tickets for all events will be sold at the door.
