In the 18 years since Laura Claycomb first made a big splash in the opera world – stepping in at short notice at the Geneva Opera, in Switzerland – the Texan soprano has sung all over the globe.
But for the next two weeks, all her travels will be in her home state. She’s embarking on a recital tour of Texas – beginning Monday at the Hobby Center, followed by performances in San Marcos, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas.
