It’s not always the most effortlessly beautiful voice, but the legato is simply superb, and her musicianship gives her singing a great beauty and expressivity. The very highest notes (all those E6s!) are a little harsh, but it’s a small price to pay when the rest is so good: generally the voice is warm, pliant, the coloratura accurate and smooth. “
